About
Ana Lario is a Spanish-born fashion and beauty film director and art director, based in Sydney and directing across Asia-Pacific — Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul and Singapore.
She came to directing as a creative, art director, editor and motion designer, and she still edits almost all of her own films. In 2011 she joined Burberry’s in-house video team at its London head office. Over three years she made films for the flagships on Regent Street and in Covent Garden and for Pacific Place in Hong Kong, and was motion designer for Regent Street’s 23 synchronised screens.
Since then she has worked with agencies including Grey London, Hi-Res! London and Seen Display. For Pantene she has directed TVCs with Chiara Ferragni, Ellie Goulding, Paula Echevarría, Neslihan Atagül and Palina Rojinski. Other clients include Rimmel, FaceGym, Boodles, Furla, Office x Nike and Jägermeister. Since 2018 she has been one of the creative motion directors Instagram uses for its Instagram Sprints.
Her recent work is directed with AI, including a fully AI-generated commercial for POND’S. She is represented in Asia by Lucifer Circus.
